Enjoy Unspoiled Beauty at Jasper National Park
The largest of Canada's Rocky Mountain Parks, Jasper National Park, part of UNESCO’s world heritage site, is a spectacular natural attraction with broad valleys, rugged mountains, glaciers, forests, alpine meadows and wild rivers along the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies. There are more than 1,200 kilometers of hiking trails (both overnight and day trips) and a number of spectacular mountain drives.
Open year round, in Jasper National Park visitors can enjoy horseback riding, hiking trails, shimmering glaciers, stunning lakes, deep canyons, stunning waterfalls, natural evergreen forests, rugged mountain peaks and abundant wildlife in a natural setting. Large numbers of elk, bighorn sheep, mule deer, grizzly bears, and other large animals make Jasper National Park one of the great, protected ecosystems remaining in the Rockies. |
